At Boon, we accept payments with cash and with Visa or Mastercard. Cash is accepted but paying with a credit/debit card does three major things:
- Ensures that we have a record of payment and can help resolve any issues regarding fares if needed. We take every measure to make sure that credit card information is secure.
- The fact that riders provide a valid credit card beforehand assures drivers that they are willing and able to pay for rides. This makes it easier for drivers to commit to Boon requests and pass up street hails while on route to their Boon rider. Rest assured, we won't charge you until you‘ve completed a ride.
- Cash-free = hassle-free! Drivers don't have to worry about being mobile piggy banks, and riders don't have to fumble through pockets and purses.
